Despite former President Donald Trump’s ongoing legal battle, some of hip-hop’s biggest artists are still supporting him. In 2023, Trump was convicted of 34 felonies for falsifying New York business records before the 2016 election. He was indicted last August on 13 separate counts in Fulton County, Georgia, including racketeering charges and several counts of fraud and false statements. Found guilty on all 34 counts.

Still, several rappers are supporting their 2024 Republican presidential candidates. Last October, during an interview on comedian Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend” podcast, Sexyy Red supported Trump’s pardon of Lil Wayne and stimulus checks during his term in office from 2017 to 2021.

Longtime supporter Kodak Black also remains supportive of Donald Trump. In 2021, Trump pardoned Jacques, who was serving a four-year prison sentence on federal gun charges. The rapper was jailed following his arrest in May 2019. Kodak believes that people started to hate Trump after his arrest last April.

In the past, rappers including Kanye West, Fivioforeign and 6ix9ine have expressed support for Donald Trump. Even some current rap stars have expressed support for The Donald.

For example, New York rappers Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow welcomed Trump at a rally in the Bronx, New York, in May 2024. . In Philadelphia in June 2024, OT7 Quanny expressed brotherly love to Trump at a Trump campaign event in the rapper’s hometown. Wearing the slogan “Make America Great Again.”

So, XXL highlights rappers who still support Donald Trump. Take a look below.
