The young thug removed from Kendrick Lamar and praised Drake in a new leaked prison call that surfaced Tuesday morning (September 2) with the vent of Kendrick’s refusal to appear on his commercial album, and questioned his role in the hip-hop collaborative culture.
The recording was part of a series of controversial prison recordings that caught the Atlanta rapper, expressing disappointment and disbelief at Kendrick’s decision not to participate in the project.
“Why don’t you want to do a feature for superstars?” Thug asked, his voice frustrated.
He continued: “You really asked Lil Durk to call you the song, Lil Baby, Thug, the real superstar to call you the song, why don’t you make this song? We lighted, N ####. We’re also ranked No. 1,” he continued.
The thug didn’t stop there. He compared Kendrick’s industry presence to Drake’s business, believing that Kendrick didn’t offer the same support to other artists.

Young thugs face eavesdropping charges when YSL crew explodes
The leaked phone calls are the latest record in the growing number of recordings in prison, which makes young thugs the center of multiple disputes and controversies.
Several clips have appeared in the past week, including one, which he allegedly criticized Gucci Mane for being “soft” after his post in his jail.
He also accused quality control CEO Pierre “P” Thomas of eavesdropping and financial mismanagement.
In another call, the thug blows up Gunna accepts a plea deal in the YSL RICO case, claiming he is trying to “go out and go to the hoe head.”
Meanwhile, the young thug responded to the leaked interrogation video by denying that he worked with the authorities.
“They didn’t play my trial video in court because I helped my brada #ratwhere?” he wrote on social media.
