Young Buck has had a lot of issues with 50 Cent in recent years, but he revealed that their feud wouldn’t stand in the way of a G-Unit reunion if given the chance.
During an appearance on “The Ed Clay Show,” the Cashville rhymer recounted his recent story with 50 and his castmates.
He said he hasn’t spoken to his former label boss in “several years,” but remains hopeful they can get back together despite Fif’s recent attacks on Buck on social media.
“This was just one of those situations where he and I both said a lot and did a lot,” Buck said. “We never had the opportunity to sit down and talk face to face as men.
“50 does a lot with social media, so it often puts us in a compromising position where our fans have to choose a side – they really don’t know the truth, they just come up with what they think.
“And he has a bigger platform, so if he says that, it seems like everyone will immediately [thinks], ‘Oh, he’s right. ‘”
Still, Buck said he bore no ill will toward the leader of G Troop.
“I have nothing negative to say about us at the moment. I have a good run,” he elaborated before sharing his thoughts on the future.
“Can I go back to G-Unit and tour and make money together? Yes. I’m open to that,” he said. “As for me signing with the brand and stuff like that, I think it’s a little bit far-fetched right now.”

Another notable moment in the interview is when the young Buck discusses songwriting. He firmly believes that “no one has ever written my music for me.” However, he says that wasn’t always the case with 50 Cent.
“Speaking of 50 Cent, I’ve written records for him,” Buck claimed. “He actually recited my music verbatim, but he never wrote anything for me.”
Buck has been vocal about his issues with 50 over the past few years. Back in 2022, he appeared on the “It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper” podcast and blamed the mogul for his bankruptcy. Buck claimed that turning 50 prevented him from releasing music.
“As soon as he stopped me from making money, I filed for bankruptcy again,” Buck said.
“I added what he claimed I owed him in bankruptcy to be able to say, ‘Okay, hey, if you owe this and show any receipts or whatever… you’re going to get paid.’ But that’s the case.” It’s the only way I can keep working.”
Just earlier this month, 50 Cent mocked Young Buck on social media.
50 posted an old photo on Instagram of himself posing with a trans man, while Barker stood awkwardly to the side.
Above the image was a line of text: “That time young Buck refused to take a photo with Caitlyn Jenner.”
Fif took a swipe at his former artist in his caption, writing: “It didn’t make sense when we took the photo, but it makes sense now. [grinning face emojis] That boy likes them boys! “
The next day, Barker celebrated his 43rd birthday, and he responded: “Dum bro @50cent… if you miss me, just say that… if you don’t mention me, tell n-gga happy birthday. “
