Rapper Westside Gunn is known for keeping the Boom Bap era alive and playing through Razor Sharp Bars, who just released his latest album.
Titled “High Heels Have Eyes 2”, the project is a full-length 12-track follow-up for his Ep Heels, whose eyes dropped earlier this year and has a 37-minute run time.
What else can you expect besides the famous Westside Gunn Ad Libs? A lot of experiments. In fact, the album is called the “Art Class” by the rapper himself, who not only did a solid run on the EP this year, but also stood out, and Doechii also stood out from “Egypt”.
On Reddit, the artist also mentioned how he is here to provide fans with real music instead of fake beef – possibly suggesting a rap showdown between Joey Bada $$ and the West Coast, which many see as a battle show.
Now, while this may be considered bad, it is important to remember that Westside Gunn has always been one of the most stable rappers in the game, keeping people in the spirit of old-fashioned lyric poetry. What do you think?
