It’s safe to say Tyrese couldn’t breathe for more than five seconds without being hit with legal papers. The 45-year-old artist is celebrating Mother’s Day with a performance at the Stockbridge Amphitheater in Georgia, which is coming to an end. According to TMZ, he was just three songs away from finishing the song, but then a security guard appeared to whisper something in his ear. At a moment’s notice, he jumped off the stage, walked and sang to the crowd for a while, then hit the water. The reason Tyrese left the concert early was because he wanted to file a huge lawsuit.
The person looking for $10 million is a music video and film producer named Bryan Barber. The lawsuit was launched as early as last October, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Barbour filed a libel and defamation lawsuit over some comments Tyrese made on The Breakfast Club. In that interview, the actor and singer claimed Barber filmed him talking to Charlamagne at Gibson’s Atlanta home and then refused to turn over the evidence. Tyrese also said he paid $35,000 for the footage, which was then stolen from him.

Tyrese is doing everything he can to avoid this lawsuit
“I don’t care if he sees this interview because I’m being honest,” Tyrese told Charlamagne during the interview. In the lawsuit documents from Tyrese’s hasty escape, Barber laid out a 50/50 income split for him and Tyrese. However, the director claimed that he did not want the video to be released as he believed it would damage his reputation. Tyrese thanked his supporters for coming on the show but did not say why he was leaving the Dodgers.
