Travis Scott’s North American CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour has sold out, officially becoming the highest-grossing rap tour of 2024, according to a press release received by HHNM.
Across all genres, Travis ranks among the top ten highest-grossing tours of the year, along with U2, Madonna and Depeche Mode. Travis Scott’s 44-show North American tour was all sold out, grossing $95.7 million and attended by 686,000 people. He is also the first rapper in history to headline a show at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium.
Travis’ much-anticipated CIRCUS MAXIMUS summer European arena and stadium tour, which has sold out, will kick off next month on June 28th at the GelreDome in the Netherlands. The tour has sold 425,271 tickets and grossed $49.9 million. The trip, produced by Live Nation, was a sell-out tour at the 43,661-capacity RheinEnergie Arena in Cologne, Germany, and the 48,300-capacity Wedsbankpark in Frankfurt.
€1/£1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Cactus Jack Foundation, a 501(c)3 foundation whose mission is to provide education through toy drives, scholarship programs for HBCU college students, and and creative activity fees to elevate Houston’s youth.
In addition, concurrent with the shoe release, Travis Scott has joined forces with the Cactus Jack Foundation and the Houston Food Bank to launch a dedicated relief fund to provide emergency relief to thousands of Houston residents affected by the hurricane. Travis Scott will donate funds from sales of his AJ1 ELKINS shoes to provide immediate relief and access to food for thousands of affected families.
Last week, several of the rapper’s songs leaked online, along with songs by Kanye, Gunna, ASAP Rocky and others.
