We’ve had a pretty musical month already, so it’s no wonder we’re serving up plenty of heat in our Fire Emoji playlist update, rounding up the best of the week’s sizzling hip-hop. Leading the way is none other than Tierra Whack, who finally releases her long-awaited album WORLD WIDE WHACK after a brilliant but limited career to date. Luckily, the Philadelphia host proves that the wait was worth it, thanks to subtly but convincingly introspective cuts like “Difficult.” Another highlight here is the menacing mid-tempo “SNAKE EYES”, with Tierra showing off more swashbuckling and stellar performance in minimal trap passages.
Another big project hitting our Fire Emoji radar this week is Flo Milli’s new album Fine H*, Stay. While there are plenty of catchy riffs and noteworthy features on this record, none are as smooth, charismatic, or direct as Gunna’s “Edible,” where his performance is so vivid. Wunna herself dropped a song of her own this week called “Prada Dem,” a sleepy, catchy trap song featuring Offset. Additionally, the former Migo fits perfectly with this atmosphere and some fast-moving processes.

Speaking of changing traffic and massive mainstream releases, Cardi B continues with her latest single “Enough (Miami).” It’s one of the simplest and most accessible products on Fire Emoji this week, but it’s still a pretty solid bar. On the other hand, we have a hard-hitting, deeply personal and vividly emotional song by Maxo Kream titled “No Then You AH*e”. The song is primarily dedicated to his late father, whose death reinterpreted much of his lyrical content in a powerful way.
In the meantime, we’d like to give a shout-out to two other fantastic feature films being released this week. Kenny Mason continued his impressive and error-free record with nine points, with “LUMINOUS” an easy standout. Finally, we’d like to mention Chief Keef and Mike WiLL Made-It’s DIRTY NACHOS project, specifically the song “DOJA,” for bringing you a great weekly fix. Let us know in the comments below what your favorite version of the fire emoji was this week and what we missed. Check out the playlist above, then come back to HNHH to listen to the latest great music 24/7.
