Two rookies from the two teams, Anthony Blake of the Orlando Magic and Grady Dick of the Toronto Raptors, met and exchanged greetings after the game. However, in greetings, they orchestrated what would eventually become a viral basketball meme. The rookies agreed to swap jerseys and pose for the camera. Why? Robin Lopez met a terrible fate in the 2023/2024 NBA season. Perhaps the worst highlight of the season for him was the February game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Bucks traded Robin to the Sacramento Kings before the game, but he is expected to be waived by the Kings and become a free agent. After the trade, Robin was no longer active, choosing to watch the Bucks against the Timberwolves. He sat on the sidelines, but instead of watching the proceedings, he read a book. Giannis Antetokounmpo enjoyed a great game, scoring a career-high and franchise-record 64 points.
