Rapper and music producer T-Pain is often respected for shaping the number one in the era of auto-musics, and has just recently sold his publishing catalog and some of the selected masters to Harbourview Equity Partners.
T-Pain told Variety in an exclusive interview that doing so will allow him to preserve the legacy of music. Rappa-Turnt-Sanga said it represents “years of hard work, creativity and memorable moments” and he has no plans to stop anytime soon.
The company entrusted to take care of the directory also has an excellent customer lineup, including names like Christine McVie, Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih, Nelly and more for Fleetwood Mac. CEO Sherrese Clarke commented on how T-Pain’s legacy “makes an indelible mark on modern music” with the goal of “furthering his incredible legacy.”
“I’m excited for the next chapter and working with Harbourview Equity because they help preserve my musical legacy,” T-Pain said. “This catalog represents years of hard work, creativity and memorable moments, and I’m very much.” Glad to see it continue to reach new heights. I don’t plan to stop anytime soon.”
“We are delighted to welcome the true pioneer of music T-Pain to the Harbourview family,” said Sherrese Clarke, founder and CEO of Harbourview. “His visionary art and innovative spirit have left an indelible mark on modern music,” said Sherrese Clarke. We can’t wait to work together further and expand his incredible legacy.”
