Snoop Dogg has delivered a personal message to Swansea City supporters ahead of his first visit to Wells FC Stadium next Tuesday. The hip-hop legend posted a video calling on the Jacks to pack the stands for their Championship match against Preston North End on February 24.
The Death Row Records founder became a minority shareholder in the Welsh football club in July 2025, along with Croatian midfielder Luka Modric and TV personality Martha Stewart. His upcoming appearance is a significant moment for the Championship side as they continue to build their celebrity ownership group.

“Uh oh. Tuesday February 24th. Swansea, Wales. That’s right. I’ll be at the game and I need to see you at the game too,” Snoop said in a social media video. “Let’s go to Swansea. Represent for once. Your dog will be at the game. Spread the word.”
The Long Beach rapper’s investment in Swansea City marks his latest foray into professional sports ownership after years of involvement in youth soccer coaching. His business empire continues to expand through strategic investments in entertainment and sports.
Swansea manager Vito Matos expressed excitement at the rapper’s arrival while remaining focused on picking up three points against Preston. The Portugal coach acknowledged the high-profile nature of Snoop’s attendance but stressed his side’s preparations for the midweek clash remained unchanged.
“I think it’s always good every time a club owner comes. He’s certainly high-profile and everyone is very excited,” Matos told reporters. “But yes, the most important thing for me is to focus on the game and keep the team focused on the game.”
Snoopy’s investment strategy is consistent with his stated aim of transforming Swansea into a global brand while pursuing promotion to the Premier League.
The rapper has spoken about using his international profile to extend the club’s reach beyond traditional football markets.
The Championship club currently competes in England’s second tier after being relegated from the Premier League a few seasons ago. Snoopy’s involvement has renewed optimism among supporters, who hope celebrity ownership will provide the resources needed for continued success.
Swansea City officials have confirmed that tickets for Preston North End’s match, scheduled to kick off at Swansea.com Stadium at 7:45pm, are still available.
