Buffalo rapper Dom Brown faced the wrath of ScHoolboy Q on Wednesday (July 24). The top Dawg Entertainment artist made scathing comments about Brown’s music after the lesser-known rapper criticized Q for not wanting to “connect” with his 14-year-old fans.
“No one has anything to do with my kids,” Q wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “This embarrassing guy.”

Brown was disturbed by the views expressed by Q on Kevin Hart’s Gold Minds podcast. The TDE rapper explains why he doesn’t want to make music that appeals to teenagers.
“Personally, I don’t want to associate with kids,” Q told Hart. “At 37 years old, I don’t want a 14-year-old who’s like, ‘Oh, ###!’ … I just don’t want it. It’s not for me. My lyrics don’t come from there. My lyrics are about my life.” . 37 years old and I don’t have a 13 year old bar now. But I can still get you moving, don’t get me wrong. I don’t think I should be dating a 14 year old.
Brown responded by shouting Q on social media.
“You were 14 listening to old rappers…you’re mad that 14 year olds weren’t inspired by you @ScHoolboyQ,” Brown wrote.
Haha, see my next tweet. This guy smH https://t.co/yNi12XKDcz

The post caught Q’s attention. He found footage of Brown performing in daytime Buffalo and mocked the performance mercilessly.
“Man I just played this song for da Homies and we cried,” Q wrote. “Don’t bother me man, I’m minding my business… This is horrible and embarrassing. Don’t do it, it’s horrible, how ignorant you are… Don’t do it, it’s sad.

One fan thought it would be fun if Q performed a song by Brown during his tour in New York on Saturday (July 27). Black hippie members liked the idea.
“I’ll add it to the list,” he replied.
Q released his latest album, Blue Lips, in March. It debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 chart.
