Ray J admitted that the face tattoos he unveiled on social media last week will eventually disappear.
During an Instagram Live session on Saturday (April 27), the singer revealed that the ink that worried his fans and followers wasn’t actually permanent.
“Well, the tattoos are almost done, y’all,” he explained. “It’s starting to fade away. I’ve tried wiping them off, okay? I’ve tried – henna or super stuff, but I did it again. I did it once and before I left I went back , getting them started again, so that’s why it got really dark.
He concluded: “I just have to wait, y’all.”
The 43-year-old attracted attention after debuting new tattoos on his face, which he claimed were intentional to make him look “unattractive”.
In late April, the reality star shared a video on Instagram showing off his new ink: stars under his eyes, his children’s names near his ears, a P on the side of his head and a capital T on his cheeks.
“Yeah, I look really unattractive right now. He’s gone,” he said in the clip. “I have tattoos on my face. That means I can no longer make movies or host TV shows. It’s all on me now, n-gga. I’m not wearing makeup, do you feel me?”
“Yes, I did it on purpose, just because I didn’t want any more airtime. I just wanted to call, and what better way to do that than to adorn your body with your beliefs?”
He added: “Write the damn points on the board. Fuck them. Fuck them. I love them. I’m humble. I just absolutely don’t, don’t even know how to care. I don’t care.
He wrote in the video: “Tired of working on network TV! Now I wish I was very unattractive!
Shortly after, he shared a close-up of the ink on Instagram Stories. On the red tone, he scatters many stages such as “The Dark Ages Come Again 4 You Opps”, “Destroy and Rebuild”, “Wish You the Best”, “I Gave You the Blueprint” and “Evil Will Come On you”. Bad people choose to do bad things to good people,” and so on.
