Ray J lashed out at Erica Mena during a heated live broadcast in which the reality star/model made a swipe at the singer, his ex-wife Princess Love , sister Brandy and even his television network Tronnix hurled insults.
The conflict allegedly came to a head when Ray J interviewed a contestant on Mena’s Zeus online dating show after a contestant on the show was eliminated. The “One Wish” singer took to Instagram to address Mena’s recent outburst, causing an uproar on social media. Ray J expressed his disbelief and frustration with Mena in the post, seemingly punishing her for repeating the behavior.
“Why call me the N-word! @ericamena – after you made that racist monkey comment about black people you just thought you could take it to the next level and call me a N###a Huh? Ray J wrote in the caption of the post.
He then highlighted the seriousness of Mena’s words and the fact that she clearly had not learned from the previous altercation in which he was not involved.
“SMH…well…” he continued. “When you make a mistake and get an L, you should learn from it, that’s not cool.”
Despite the previous scandal, it seems Mena hasn’t learned his lesson, something Ray J didn’t hesitate to address when he appealed directly to Mena’s ex, Safaree Samuels.
“Safaree is my friend and I will not fall out with my people’s BM,” Ray J wrote, signaling his intention to distance himself from the couple’s ongoing drama while still condemning Mena’s actions. Safaree, who has two children with the reality star, has also recently been the target of her social media tirade. He added some promotional content at the end, urging fans to “subscribe to @tronixnetwork.”
