Soulja Boy has struck an exclusive streaming deal with Kick and announced plans to air throughout 2026.
The rapper officially announced the move on January 19, joining a growing list of high-profile creators abandoning traditional platforms. Screenshots of the rapper’s contract details have surfaced on social media, with multiple TikTok videos claiming the deal is worth millions of dollars.
“I’m the new face of Kick. This is my s###,” Soulja Boy said.
Kick has been actively seeking out key talent to compete with Twitch and YouTube Gaming. The platform has signed huge contracts with streamers such as xQc and Adin Ross, with a total reported value of over $100 million.

Soulja Boy’s decision reflects Kick’s superior revenue-sharing model compared to its competitors. Twitch takes a 50% cut of subscription revenue, while Kick gives creators a 95% cut.
The platform also offers built-in clip creation tools and a dedicated support team.
The “Crank That” hitmaker brings a unique blend of music and gaming content to his streaming approach. His previous online businesses generated millions of views across various platforms, making him an attractive acquisition as part of Kick’s expansion strategy.
Fans are excited about the news, anticipating the combination of live music, gaming content and interactive experiences.
Soulja Boy and his streaming presence could attract new audiences who grew up with his hits.
