R. Kelly’s Kids Speak Out
On Friday (October 11), the TVEI network launched a new documentary series, “R. Kelly’s Karma: A Daughter’s Journey,” focusing on the impact of the troubled singer’s life on his children. In new revelations, Kelly’s 26-year-old daughter Abby claims she was sexually abused by her father when she was around 8 or 9 years old. She said she woke up one night to find the singer touching her. Tubby said she eventually told her mother, Andrea Kelly, the singer’s ex-wife who filed the complaint in 2009.
“I didn’t know that even if he was a bad guy, he would do something to me,” Abi said through tears in the documentary. “I really feel like that millisecond really changed my life.”
