Earlier this week, Soulja Boy took to Instagram Live to fire back at B. Simone, who made some interesting shady comments about the rapper on her Let’s Try This Again podcast. He didn’t hold back at all, taking a swipe at Simon’s appearance, career and more. This prompted a response from Simone and Pretty Vee, who came to her defense.
“Don’t play with me @souljaboy. You better play with them but not with @thebsimone. She said it again, now what?” she wrote in the comments section of The Shade Room. “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus, you living creature 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.” While most didn’t blame Pretty Way for standing up for her friend, some faulted her choice of words. “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus” were the last words of Sonya Massey, a 36-year-old black woman who was murdered by police this month.
Pretty Vee said she meant no offense
Social media users accused Pretty Vee of disrespecting Messi with her response. However, according to her, that was the last thing she wanted to do. She recently responded to the backlash on Instagram, claiming that those who criticized her choice of words were taking it out of context and confirming that she never meant to offend anyone. This prompted another response from B. Simone, who thanked Pretty Vee for standing up for her. “Vee, I love you and thank you for supporting me❤️A true friend…you have the purest heart and we know how you mean it,” she wrote.
What do you think about the backlash Pretty Vee received for Soulja Boy’s insane rant about B. Simone? What if she confirmed that she never meant to disrespect Sonia Macy? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below and follow HNHH for more updates.
