This morning, the FBI raided the Tennessee home of Vinnie Shesty to execute a search and arrest warrant.
According to a report published by Fox13 Memphis on Wednesday (April 1), FBI agents conducted a “federal court-authorized search and arrest warrant” on Wednesday morning at a home owned by Pooh Shiesty or the rapper’s family. The early morning raid occurred at a home in Shelby County, Tennessee, that reportedly belonged to Lontrell Williams. Vinnie’s government name was Lontrell Williams Jr. and his father was Lontrell Williams Sr.
The FBI did not elaborate further on their investigation.
XXL has reached out to Pooh Shiesty’s team and the FBI Memphis Field Office for comment.
Vinnie Shesty was not home during the raid. The Memphis rapper is currently living in a halfway house after being released from federal prison on October 6, 2025. Vinnie has been serving about three years of a 63-month sentence for conspiring to possess a firearm in furtherance of a violent and drug-trafficking crime.
In a December 2025 interview with XXL, Vinnie, now clean and sober, viewed his release from prison as a second chance in his music career and personal life.
“A cleaner version,” he said of himself, and fans are now used to it. “Pooh Shiesty is more focused. The vision is clearer, I see better now. I get it. This is my second run. It’s like a second chance, really”
