A month after being released from prison, Pooh Shiesty is back in the studio.
The Memphis rapper shared a video on his Instagram Story on Wednesday night (November 5). In the video, Pooh is standing on the balcony of a high-rise building.
“This is breaking news,” he said as he showed the camera an ankle monitor. “Studio, studio, studio, studio. Record, studio.”
“75% back outside, 100% studio ready,” he wrote in the video.
Pooh Shiesty was released from federal prison on October 6 after serving about three years of a 63-month sentence for conspiring to possess a firearm in furtherance of a violent and drug-trafficking crime.
Shortly after Vinnie was released, Wack 100 began spreading rumors that Vinnie might have reported his case, a claim Vinnie’s attorney Bradford Cohen vehemently denied.
“The allegation that Vinnie gave up information in this case is so stupid,” Cohen said in a video shared on social media. “How stupid he is… Long story short, Vinnie Shesty didn’t give up on anyone. We never cooperated with the government. Our defense is, we blame the alleged victim. The victim tried to rob Vinnie and his crew, and that’s how the gun came out.”
“It was a great job of his attorneys to cooperate,” Cohen added. “None of the defendants in that case lost their temper at anyone. Because there was no one to lose their temper with.”
Weeks ago, Vinnie publicly rebuked those who didn’t answer his calls while he was in prison.
He has yet to release any music since his release from prison.
