NLE Choppa has publicly expressed his support for the LGBTQ community in recent months, and now he’ll be performing in person during Black Pride weekend in Atlanta to show his love.
The multi-day festival begins on Thursday (August 29) and runs through Monday (September 2). NLE’s show, while not listed on the festival website, is billed as “NLE Choppa, Atlanta Black Pride Festival 2024.”
The show will take place Sunday night (September 1) at The Bank of Atlanta. Tickets can be purchased here.
Choppa announced the show on Instagram on Friday (August 30), explaining why he booked the show.
“If you’re a person who has had something to say about me in the last six months, like am I gay or am I a bomb, or am I this or am I that, well, that’s probably when you’re trying to figure out who I am. The conclusion will drive you crazier or make you more obsessed,” he began.
“Because I know myself so deeply and I appreciate myself so much, I’m coming to Atlanta for Black Pride and showing my love to the LGBTQ community because they are one of the best audiences in streaming.” .
He continued: “So, just as they showered love on me, I poured love back in the same way. I’ll let you judge me again and say what you want to say to me, because you’re going to say what you want to say no matter what. What to say.
“Slut Me Out 2” has gained a huge following among the LGBTQ community since its release in April, and the rapper is eager to return the favor. In June, he even anticipated his latest move.

Even back in April, during the song’s initial release, he expressed his gratitude on social media.
“I noticed so much love for Slut Me Out 2 from the LGBTQ community and I just wanted to say thank you,” he wrote at the time. “IDC What a normal rapper, I was raised to fuck whoever I was raised to do! So thank you for appreciating my craft…my music does not discriminate against all of us.
