Nicki Minaj made a surprise appearance at the Turning Point USA event hosted by Charlie Kirk’s widow over the weekend to express her appreciation for President Trump.
The Queens, New York rapper was a guest at Turning Point’s annual America Festival conference in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday (December 21). Nikki has previously spoken positively about the US President on social media. She went on to praise the current commander-in-chief.
“I have the utmost respect and admiration for our president,” Nikki told Kirk. Kirk is the widow of right-wing political activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot to death at a TPUSA event in Utah last September. “I don’t know if he knew it, but he gave a lot of people hope and a chance to beat the bad guys. Win, keep your head high, keep your integrity.”
“He’s been through everything a person can go through in public,” Nikki continued. “Having to be constantly lied to. It’s really fun unless you’re in that person’s shoes.”
During the America Day conference, Nikki also called out California Governor Gavin Newsom for his support of transgender children.
Nikki recently expressed her allegiance to Trump, which surprised some fans. Over the past few weeks, she has posted on X in support of the controversial president, who is currently in the midst of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
