Nicki Minaj announced the second U.S. leg of her Pink Friday 2 world tour on Friday (May 24). The diamond-selling rapper attributes the expansion of the tour to the success of the first stop.
		
“We did it, Babz,” she wrote on social media. “The first US leg of the #PinkFriday2 #GAGCITY TOUR was so successful that I have been invited to do the second leg starting in September. Sign up now and tkts will go on sale in a few days. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. God is good. . You never give up. Let’s go!
Nikki hasn’t revealed the location or specific dates of her additional concerts, but her website lists the cities where she will perform later this year. Second stops include Cleveland, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco.
The Nicki Minaj Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour has become the highest-grossing tour for a female rapper. The film reportedly grossed $67 million with 439,000 tickets sold.
Nicki’s tour begins in Auckland on March 1st.
The European leg of the tour kicks off in Amsterdam on Thursday (May 23). Nicki’s overseas performances will be performed in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden and other places, and the performance will end in Belgium on July 14th.
