Nas and Mass Appeal have announced a new initiative to digitize and release rare mixtapes from the 1990s and 2000s. The “Archive Series” aims to preserve hip-hop history and introduce classic underground projects to a new generation. Fans will get access to hard-to-find material that once only circulated on cassette or early internet forums. Nas says the effort is about “protecting and celebrating the foundation” of the culture.
