More details have emerged about Pooh Shiesty’s alleged robbery of Gucci Mane.
On Thursday (April 2), news broke that Vinnie, his father, the Big30 and six other men were accused of robbing and kidnapping three men (one of whom was reportedly Gucci Mane, but not named in legal documents) during a business meeting in Dallas that turned violent in January. During the meeting, Vinnie allegedly armed himself with an assault rifle and asked Gucci, who is listed as RD in the indictment, to sign a contract release form. Vinnie’s entourage also robbed Gucci’s team.
The indictment was unsealed Thursday afternoon and provides more details about what authorities say happened. Here are some new details revealed in the indictment.
When Gucci Mane and his team arrived at the studio, Pooh asked to speak privately with Gucci in a separate studio. Pooh then took out a contract release form and asked Gucci to sign it. When Guwop refused, a dispute ensued. Vinnie then told Big30 to grab a bag, from which Vinnie took out an AK-style rifle and pointed it at Gooch, prompting Gooch to comply. One of Vinnie’s co-conspirators pulled out his cell phone and recorded Gooch signing a release form at gunpoint while being forced to say he had “released” Vinnie from his contract. Vinnie then stole Gucci Mane’s wedding ring, watch, earrings and jewelry. Gucci staff were prevented from leaving the studio where they were working and robbed of their valuables, including a 1017 necklace. A man known as “MM” was suffocated and almost unconscious during the robbery. At one point, Gucci Mane was pushed onto a couch, “leading the victims to believe they were about to be executed.” Pooh pointed the barrel of a gun at the back of a man known as “BP” and ordered Gucci and staff to identify Pooh Shiesty and Big30. Gucci Mane and other victims identified Pooh Shiesty and Big30 to authorities, with Poesty described as “wearing a mask during the mask robbery.”
If convicted, Vinnie Shesti and his co-conspirators face life in prison.
