Megan Thee Stallion opens up about some of the most difficult situations she’s ever been through, opening up about her mother’s death and being castrated by Tori in the trailer for her upcoming documentary ‘In Her Words’ The backlash following the shooting of Tory Lanez.
The trailer for the Amazon Prime documentary, released on Wednesday (October 16), opens with Meg admitting, “I’m not having fun right now” and saying she’s canceling the show.
Meghan revealed how much of a role her late mother played in the start of her music career and reflected on how much her death affected her.
“Without my mother, I wouldn’t be here,” she said. “My mom was like a gangster rapper. I was like, ‘When I grow up, I really want to be like her.
Meghan recalled her mother’s death in 2019, admitting she was “in turmoil”. The Grammy Award-winning rapper revealed she was “devastated” amid scrutiny following the 2020 shooting.
“I guess I really forgot who I was, and when life started getting really crazy, I didn’t [my mother],” she explained. “That’s when I started getting backlash. Shootings. Betrayals. I definitely got a little too addicted to social media.
In the video, Meghan burst into tears as she admitted, “I was absolutely devastated.”

“I want people to understand how this affects me,” she said, adding, “I want people to understand how I feel. I’ve been through so much and I can’t give up.
