Meek Mill told his Twitter followers that his cousin is experiencing mental anguish amid his latest legal troubles in his native Pennsylvania.

In a series of tweets shared on Wednesday (December 11), Meek revealed that his cousin was being held on a warrant he was unaware of while trying to show up at a juvenile detention facility. Specifically, Meek alleged some impropriety in Bucks County, including an arrest warrant for his cousin for a minor offense.
“Bucks County is going crazy with an arrest warrant for my cousin…” Meeker tweeted. “Could have been a phone call or we got a warrant from dad for his arrest without notifying him that he was in trouble…I gave my country blood, sweat and tears! We respect the law when it comes to going to the range, not fighting.
He then detailed the circumstances that led to his cousin’s apparent arrest.
“He only needs permission from the Juvenile Learning Center to enter the prison…” he wrote. “He’s had a warrant out for his arrest since September and no one has told anyone! Please don’t bring this to me and my family, everyone around me is trying to grow out of the system and the streets.

In one of his last tweets, Meek Mill seemed to suggest he was having a mental breakdown due to the severity of the incident.
“They’ve had him do a 3-year uniform bid for prison weed cases with 0.03g/box of weed instead of 3g and the weed is legal!” he exclaimed. “It almost messed up his spirit!”
Meek Mill became emotional last December when he attended a bill-signing ceremony celebrating the passage of probation reform with Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro.
“We grew up on the streets,” Meeker said at the event at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. “We try to get better, but they label us ‘felons’ and send us back to prison. I’ve always had to fight that to earn respect and become who I am today. I’m proud of that.
