The rapper, also known as the “Silver Surfer,” was jailed for his alleged role in a fatal robbery in New Jersey in 2006.
Max B was originally sentenced to 75 years in prison in 2009, which was later overturned. In 2016, he accepted a plea deal to aggravated manslaughter, which significantly shortened his sentence.
French Montana celebrated the occasion on Instagram, posting: “This is irreparable! My brother actually came home on my birthday! Hamdullah walked it off! You can never be free again.”
French also shared a video of the pair back in the studio on Max’s first day out, teasing the return of their “Cola Waves” series.
