You don’t have to be a Kendrick fan to know the name MackWop. Even if you’re not familiar with his role in TDE, you’ve definitely heard his name in Untitled 02. Over the years he has had his own YouTube channel covering topics related to hip hop and TDE, but also many other things.
Earlier today, he responded to a video from Jeremy Hecht in which Hecht documented the appearance of Drake, Kendrick, and Cole and when they first met.
While watching Kendrick Sr. interview the rapper talking about working on “Good Kid,” “mAAd City” with Bootleg Kev, MackWop talked about how Kendrick had already completed most of the album at the time. He then found some unreleased stuff on his laptop and played it.
It samples Radiohead’s “Everything In It Right Place” and sounds like it was recorded in 2010/2011. It features a skit that is reminiscent of the skit on Dot’s major label debut. It’s so refreshing to hear Kendrick’s voice. Take a look below.
