Playboi Carti took to Instagram on Saturday to share a series of direct messages between him and Lucki after he believed the rapper insulted him on social media. In the message, Lucki praised Carti and expressed his excitement for his new music. The divisiveness emerged after Cardi shared his new song “All Red” on Friday.
Lucki eventually responded to the move in a video on Instagram Story, saying Carti misunderstood one of his recent posts. “Like I said from the beginning, I don’t hate you,” he began. “You think that yesterday, because I bought a chain and I said ‘cross,’ that I secretly despise you because you made a song about it and said ‘upside down cross tattoo’ on my neck,” but that’s not the case. . You are just insecure because you don’t love Jesus that way. Later, Lucki shared an old photo of Carti wearing a shirt, “I [heart] Jesus” is right up there.

As Cardi and Luckey continued to post throughout Saturday night, hip-hop fans on Reddit began sharing their thoughts on the beef. One user wrote: “It’s weird how new rappers just tweet and post their stories during beef parties and never make diss records.” Another wrote: “All Lucki kids It’s crazy to want to argue with him at some point.”
