Lil Wayne is back on action after Kendrick Lamar’s somewhat controversial Super Bowl show in New Orleans. The rapper seemed to feel it was unfair to be chosen as Kendrick as him in the half-time show, but instead performed classics from the catalogue on SNL.
Starting with Uproar (when he asked where love went, um), Wayne performed “Lollipop”, “6-foot-7-foot.” Officer and “A Milli” – All have live bands, no backing sound tracks to get new sounds, doubting fans know what is.
The performance is part of SNL’s 50th anniversary, celebrating the extensive contribution of sketch comedy, in addition to Lil Wayne, Roots, Miley Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, Paul Simon, Paul Simon, Paul McCartney, Paul McCartney, Brittany Howard and Sabrina Carpenter .
Who booked @lilwayne and asked him to do all these songs…after the Super Bowl in Nola’s case… Say: “Check (pause) (silly smirk) companion.” #SNL50

Recently, the rapper also started teasing his upcoming project, Carter VI, which certainly seems to be part of the launch. Fans are waiting for Lil Wayne to have something to say on the new album after Kendrick’s name removal and mention on GNX. All that’s left is to wait and find out!
