Lil Wayne insists that he knows nothing about Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s epic 2024 rap war, which led to an awkward moment last year.
Lil Wayne admits he has not investigated the fight between Drake and Kendrick
On Thursday (April 18), Rolling Stone made its latest cover story, with Tunechi opening his upcoming Tha Carter VI album “The Teaced Super Bowl Snub”. The rapper who reclusively said also admitted that he did not focus on Drizzy and K-Dot’s rap hatred, which went crazy in 2024.
“I’m going to give you a perfect role model,” Wayne said. “I’m on stage, I’m singing this song and they thought I’m cheating.”
Wayne referred to the time he sang “Don’t Like Us” in his performance in Las Vegas.
Wayne continued, “I don’t want to make my guy angry with me.” He added, “I didn’t even know it was Kendrick…If it didn’t happen on this channel or FS1, I didn’t know it happened.”
The Louisiana rapper further proves Wayne’s isolation or bad memory, revealing later in the interview that he didn’t know Jay-Z and you guys released the joint album “The The The The The The The The Rone” in 2011.

Carter VI Update
Finally it seems Wayne is real, discarding his long-awaited Tha Carter VI album. He also revealed the project’s special artists, including Machine Gun Kelly, Wyclef, Billy Eilish, Miley Cyrus, Bono and others, after announcing earlier this year that the project will drop on June 6. This will be Wayne’s first album since his funeral in 2020.
