Lil Poppa’s cause of death has been revealed.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office in Georgia has confirmed to XXL that Lil Poppa’s death has been ruled a suicide. According to reports, Poppa, whose real name was Janarious Mykel Wheeler, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The news comes after the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Lil Poppa died at approximately 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 18. He was 25 years old.
After hearing the sad news of Popa’s untimely passing, many rappers took to social media to pay tribute to the late Jacksonville, Florida rhymer.
