Lil Durk has reportedly been arrested on “murder-for-hire” charges.
Earlier Thursday, reports emerged that five people in Chicago had been charged with federal charges in California, saying they were hired to kill rapper Quando Rando in Los Angeles for his alleged involvement in the 2020 killing of rival artist King Von.
Kavon London Grant; De’Andre Dontrell Wilson; Keith Jones; David Bryan Lindsay; Asa Houston and Asa Houston are named in the indictment unsealed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles. The charges include conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, murder-for-hire involving death and use of a machine gun during a violent crime resulting in death. The most serious charges carry a maximum penalty of death if convicted.
The indictment alleges that after King Von was killed in Atlanta in 2020, an unnamed co-conspirator in Lil Durk’s OTF team offered money and “lucrative paychecks” to anyone who wanted to kill Quando Rondo Musical Opportunity” Quando Rondo is a Georgia rapper whose real name is Tyquan Terrell Bowman.
Now it appears Durk himself has been arrested, as is clear from a screenshot of Boward County records shown on the official website along with a photo of the rapper.
