LiAngelo Ball has reportedly signed a deal with Def Jam/UMG.
NBA insider Shams Charania tweeted that the “Tweaker” hitmaker has reached a $13 million deal with Def Jam that will see him continue to own his masterwork, a licensing deal. He will also retain his Born2Ball music group.
Since its release, Gelo’s songs have amassed millions of plays and generated considerable buzz online. It’s the third-most popular song on YouTube Music, and Gelo has secured a spot on the lineup at Los Angeles’ Rolling Loud music festival in March.
