Kim Kardashian found herself criticized after she shared a provocative photo with a Tesla robot and electric utility truck, sparking a heated discussion on social media.
The photos, in which the reality star wears lingerie and poses provocatively with high-tech creations, quickly drew criticism from fans and critics alike.
“So Optimus Prime got laid?” one user wrote, while another added, “The sexualization of robots is crazy.”
The controversial photos, posted on Kardashian’s social media accounts, show her wearing a bomber jacket, bra, stockings and suspenders while striking various provocative poses.
In one image, she is seen straddling the legs of a humanoid Tesla robot. Another photo shows her crouching in front of the robot, which appears to be sitting in the driver’s seat of a Tesla truck.

Designed by Elon Musk’s Tesla, the robot added a sci-fi feel but was not enough to stem the public backlash.
Critics have questioned whether Kardashian’s use of Tesla products is a subtle endorsement of Musk or even a statement of her political stance.
Some commentators have pointed to President-elect Donald Trump’s recent appointment of Musk to lead the newly created Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE) as a potential reason for Kim’s alliance with Trump.
The sexy nature of the photo also caused discomfort among fans.
Critics derided the fusion of lingerie poses with cutting-edge technology, calling the images “weird” and out of touch with reality.
One disgruntled user commented: “Sorry Kim, you won’t normalize our weird behavior. We don’t want this!”
Others went beyond Kardashian’s photo choices to lament the broader impact of technology encroaching on daily life.
“I hate it when it comes to humans,” one worried critic wrote, reflecting unease about the rapid integration of robots and automation into society.
Whether Kardashian intended to spark such divisive debate is unknown, but the images certainly sparked discussions about technology, politics and the influence of celebrities.
