Kai Cenat has finally spoken out about the drama that has been plaguing him since December. The Twitch star posted a message on Instagram addressing all the rumors surrounding his split from Gabriel “Gigi” Araya.
The 23-year-old anchor quit social media after their relationship ended. He needs time to process everything that happened between him and his ex-girlfriend.
“I just wanted to speak from my heart. It can be confusing to see untrue news about me and the people around me,” Senat wrote in an Instagram Story on February 13.
Senat and Gigi dated for about a year and then broke up. He announced their breakup on December 27, 2025, and bluntly stated on Twitter that he was single and would never be in another relationship again.
Breakups can get messy quickly. Rumors are flying that Gigi cheated on Senat in NBA YoungBoy. She denied the claims and said she was actually the one who ended the relationship first.
Gigi posted a video on YouTube called “The Real” in which she shared her story. She accused Senat of cheating and said his assistant Brianna Lewis was interfering in their relationship.
Lewis hit back, saying the leaked messages showed Gigi talking to other men. The assistant said she was only trying to protect Senat because she had worked with him since he was 19.
Things got worse when Gigi claimed that Senat became controlling after the Mafia 3 streaming marathon. She said he didn’t want her to have male friends and get jealous over little things.
Senat’s friends were also involved. Gigi accused his friend Dez of allegedly flirting with her while they were dating.
“There have been a lot of rumors, speculation and comments about my previous relationships and my friends,” Senat said. “I would like to apologize for not resolving the issue sooner.”
Since taking a break, the streamer has been focusing on his fashion brand Vivet. He announced the clothing line with a video titled “I Quit,” and fans thought he was leaving streaming for good.
“People react to things differently and this is an emotional time and should be dealt with privately,” Senat wrote in the statement.
He made it clear that fans should only trust messages that come directly from him. The anchor said he was tired of all the fake stories circulating online.
“If there’s something important and real that I need to address or say, you’ll hear it directly from me,” he explained. “You’ll always hear it from me. Don’t let all the noise distract you.”
Senat’s statement was posted and quickly deleted from his Instagram Story. But before he could delete it, the screenshot had gone viral on social media.
The relationship drama had been going on for weeks. Fans have been picking sides and arguing over who is telling the truth about what happened.
Gigi admitted she “crossed the line” with a male friend but insisted she never cheated. She said Senat caught her in this situation and they both decided to settle the matter.
The assistant’s intervention further complicates matters. Lewis shared what she said were private messages and phone recordings to defend Senat’s reputation.
At the end of his statement, he wished Gigi all the best and asked fans to respect both parties.
“I wish Gabriel the best and please respect both parties,” he said.
