Kanye West aka Ye’s new album BULLY is out now to mixed reactions from listeners.
The general consensus seems to be that while the project’s production level is quite high, Kanye’s voice sounds uninspired, or as they’re now calling it, AI-like. But how did it perform commercially?
HDD reports that BULLY will debut next week at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, with sales of approximately 117,000. That would be behind BTS’s expected second week of around 170,000.
In related news, Kanye will headline multiple nights at London’s Wireless Festival this summer. He will headline the festival for the first time since 2014, playing three nights at Finsbury Park from 10 to 12 July.
