Kal Banx is a producer from Dallas, Texas. He first became known for producing tracks on Revenge Of The Dreamers III, and has since produced tracks for Isaiah Rashad, SiR and Smino. He officially became a member of Top Dawg Entertainment’s in-house producer team in 2021. Smino’s verses sound particularly effortless, sounding similar to Krayzie Bone in terms of fluidity on the track. It also features some of Smino’s signature singing passages. It all comes together to create a song that wouldn’t sound out of place on his album.
“HOP OUT CHO FEELINGS” is Smino’s latest debut. Earlier this year, he released the singles “Polynesian,” “Nokia” and “Mister Misfit but ain’t miss a fit in Month.” He claimed in January that he had three albums ready to be released in 2024. His last album “Luv 4 Rent” was released in October 2022. Buddy released his latest album, Don’t Forget To Breathe, in March of this year. His album also features Smino, their first release together in years. They both appear in the song “1993” from Revenge of the Dreamers III. As for Kal Banx, fans may next hear his production on Isaiah Rashad’s next album when it’s released. Rashad has yet to announce a release date, but confirmed its existence earlier this year. Quoting lyrics:
Oh, thinking about escaping from the air
Look at the Lakers, Asara Mulekum
Wa-Alaikum-Salaam, thank you
We are the most authentic living people
Hi haters, bye haters
bye haters
Goodbye Felicia, not today, not tomorrow
