Kanye West seems intent on getting his music career back on track in the most effective way possible.
Billboard reports that John Monopoly is officially back as Kanye’s manager after more than a decade apart. John, also a Chicago native, played a crucial role in Kanye’s early rise to stardom.
Billboard’s sources have confirmed John’s new role. Ye also had praise for John and reflected on their history at a VULTURES private listening event in Los Angeles over the weekend. Kanye has not had an official agent since parting ways with Izvor Zivkovic in March 2018.
With John’s help, Kanye is organizing a world tour that is expected to begin in a few months. The global tour will feature proper production and performances, unlike the listening events Ye currently holds across the country to promote his music.
The tour will be Kanye’s first since his 2016 Saint Pablo Tour, which was cut short in November 2016 after the rapper was hospitalized.
