Jelly Roll was once a struggling rapper, but now he’s a successful country artist with huge hits on the board.
The artist, who has racked up multiple hits on the country charts, a Grammy nomination and a Country Music Association New Artist of the Year award, released his latest album, Beautifully Broken, on Friday. The album has a total of 22 songs and includes guest appearances from Wiz Khalifa, MGK and others, while the deluxe version features other guest appearances from Russ and Skylar Grey.
According to HDD, the album is expected to sell 134,000 copies in its first week, which is currently only about 5,000 copies more than the estimated first-week sales of Rod Wave’s Last Lap album.
This week, the two artists will be vying for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, and it could be an interesting showdown. Stay tuned for updated data this weekend.
Speaking of first-week sales, GloRilla’s album GLORIOUS aims to sell 60,000 copies in its first week, ranking fifth.
