Jeezy has given the court what he says is his explanation for the abuse allegations against his estranged wife Jeannie Mai.
TMZ obtained copies of the Church In These Streets rapper’s latest legal salvo on Friday (May 3), wherein he showed what appeared to be WhatsApp conversations between himself and the Raid the Cage co-host (whom he labeled as “Monaco’s mom” in the app).
During the conversation, Mai shared a screenshot of her ovulation calendar from the Flo app, which tracks menstrual and ovulation cycles and is the go-to app for women over 40 trying to get pregnant.
“Welp. Tomorrow is when my eggs do what they do, so you get a job cap,” Mai wrote to Jeezy.
The rapper (real name Jay Wayne Jenkins) submitted the conversations as evidence that Mai was trying to have a second child with him and began accusing him of abuse when he rejected her advances.
Mai initially claimed abuse from the Atlanta rapper in court documents filed on April 24, which were obtained by HipHopDX. The Raid the Cage co-host claimed in her motion, which asks the court to enforce the settlement memorandum, that the rapper physically abused her and neglected their children during an event in December 2022.
Mai further claimed that Giz strangled her, called her a “fucking bitch” and claimed he “couldn’t wait” to divorce her. She also claimed Jeezy had a drinking problem and his violent behavior escalated when drunk, and that he once left their daughter Monaco alone with an AK-47 in a Louis Vuitton bag. Finally, Mai claimed that Jeezy would subject his eldest son, Jadarius, to the same type of abuse.
In response to Mai’s claims, Jeezy responded on Instagram on April 25.
“Y’all know me,” he wrote in the post’s caption, “and these accusations are not only false, but deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I love. This maliciousness tarnishes my character, disrupts my My family’s behavior is ridiculous.
He continued, “It is disheartening to witness deceitful and manipulative behavior, and at this time, my main concern is being an active father to our daughter while continuing to fight for court-mandated joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will surely shine through through the legal process.” Legal channels confirmed.
