NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed that JAY-Z and Roc Nation’s agreement with the NFL to produce the Super Bowl halftime show will continue.
According to Bloomberg, Goodell gave a speech about cooperation at the NFL’s annual owners meeting in Atlanta on Tuesday (October 15).
The NFL commissioner said his relationship with JAY-Z, Roc Nation and its CEO Desiree Perez is “mutually positive” and that all parties are satisfied.
“I’m not sure any of us actually spent a lot of time talking about contracts,” Goodell added. “Jay is happy. Desiree Perez is happy. I’m happy, so we’re all good.
While the last five-year contract signed in 2019 was worth $25 million, the terms of the new deal have not yet been announced, according to ESPN.
