Nowaah, commander of Dallas, Texas, was surprised to release his 23rd EP on Bandcamp. With NAS’s 11th album NASIR released his first Ep Trill Life Mathematiks in the summer of 2018, with Ye or the 11th album NASIR released by Ye or formerly known as Kanye West, he will continue to give up his last 19 EPs, as well as Nowaah and Dewer’s Nowaah & Dewer’s treble album and about 6 suitable lengths. Standouts for me personally include the DirtyDiggs-produced Private Stock, the Estee Nack collaborative effort Planted Seeds, The Infallible, the Stu Bangas-produced Respectfully, the Giallo Point-produced Right Over Left & it’s sequel, the DJ D-Styles-produced Crème de la Crème, the Kyo Itachi-produced Sudan Samurai Scrolls & recently Plans of the Diligent last Thanksgiving was with Beluga about a month ago. Giallo Point back to the exception caught my attention and I had to listen.
“Afwaan” is this drumless intro reflecting on Ye biting the Trill Life Mathematiks artwork for NASIR similarly to how Maxo Kream has accused Ye of biting the Punken artwork for Bully whereas “The Mental” takes the boom bap route instrumentally talkin’ that science to each & every one of us. “Hate to be You” is this drumless intro reflecting on Ye biting the Trill Life Mathematiks artwork for NASIR similarly to how Maxo Kream has accused Ye of biting the Punken artwork for Bully whereas “The Mental” takes the boom bap route instrumentally talkin’ that science to each & every one of us. “Hate to be You” is this drumless intro reflecting on Ye biting the Trill Life Mathematiks artwork for NASIR similarly to how Maxo Kream has accused Ye of biting the Punken artwork for Bully whereas “The Mental” takes the boom bap route instrumental talkin’ that science to each & every one of us. “Hate to be You” is this drumless intro reflecting on Ye biting the Trill Life Mathematiks artwork for NASIR similarly to how Max
To start the anomaly first half, “Fortune 500” cleverly talks about being a certified art stealer who has a hard time figuring out and never putting it on God, bringing it into a dark fusion aptly named “Threatening the Anthem” that blends the stubborn Hip Hop & Boom Bap, both in aesthetic and lyrical effects. “Gentleness” shows that anyone trying to make it clear that he’s catching up with WS in a rap battle will not have overtime, and the final song “The Revelation of Sandanis” feels somewhat unfinished after hanging in poetry over the half-baked far away.
Apart from that, I really don’t have any other complaints about this EP, as in the 20-minute game, the vast majority of the materials here transform the ability of quality underground hip-hop into diligence and Beluga’s plan both have to offer 3 quarters. Giallo Point’s work is a consistent fusion of Drumless & Boom Bap, and Nowaah handles all the performances, rather than similar to the hardworking plan without any guests, as did last month at Beluga.
Score: 9/10
