FAUSTOE and Ozzzie are redefining the underground hip-hop scene with their collaborative album “Loopz in the Pack,” a powerful exploration of raw emotion and classic organic beats. The duo from the San Fernando Valley create a sound that’s both timeless and fresh, blending unfiltered personal stories with intricate beats that pay homage to hip-hop’s golden age. Each song on Loopz in the Pack captures a unique moment in their journey, with honest lyrics and catchy beats that resonate deeply with listeners.
FAUSTOE & Ozzzie’s deep connection with the late Point Blvnk, renowned photojournalist and official photographer of UndergroundHipHopBlog.com, further amplifies the album’s significance. Point Blvnk’s impact on the hip-hop scene is undeniable, and shortly after his death, he left an indelible mark on Faustoe & Ozzzie’s creative process. His legacy lives on in Loopz in the Pack, with the pair carrying on his artistic spirit and vision throughout the project.
Originally wanted to cover this project earlier, but after listening to this, we’re glad we gave this EP the shine it deserves. We believe that our title songs “Loopz in the Pack”, “Stress 7ess” and bonus song “Paint Rain” contain the rhyme patterns brought by FAUSTOE and the beats and DJ skills demonstrated by Ozzzie. In our book, despite being only a 6-track EP, we give this project a well-deserved 8/10.
