Back in March, when Dr. Dre was receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he announced on Jimmy Kimmel’s show that Eminem would be releasing a new album in 2024. Death Of Slim Shady , dropped a trailer for it.
Now, via a somewhat cryptic post on social media, we seem to know when we can get our first taste of new music from the record.
They just posted a video that looks like an iMessage screenshot. The message was sent in invisible ink and read “…and my last resort!” and was sent at midnight on May 31, the following Friday. Of course, the new music is released at midnight ET on Friday, so fans assume this is when we can expect a single, or even a full record. Some have speculated that “Last Trick” could be a reference to the rapper’s final album.
