Drake made a surprise appearance at a Toronto nightclub and took a moment to share some thoughts on fake friends.
Drizzy attended the Nostalgia party at Rebel nightclub in Toronto on Saturday (October 5), where he introduced another special guest, singer Mario.
On an otherwise joyous night, dancing on stage and rapping to old 50 Cent songs, Drake suddenly turned serious as he talked about friendship and betrayal—topics that he will no doubt be concerned about because of his recent relationship with Kendrick Lamar’s “20 on 1” fight resonated with A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross and more.

“One thing about nostalgia is, the parties here, my real friends are definitely in the building,” Drake began.
“But I’m telling you, you’re going to get to a point in your life where people you consider friends, or people you consider close to you, they might change their attitude, they might try to fight you, they might Stab you in the back, they could do any number of things to you.
“You’re going to realize this. No matter where you are in life, you’ve probably been there before and you’ll be there again. That’s just the way life is.
“But you see, sometimes it’s just you, just you. Sometimes, you’re the only one thinking.
In other Drake-related onstage shout-out news, Kanye West recently thanked Drizzle for helping him write some rhymes, marking yet another twist in their on-again, off-again feud .

In a clip from the show that only began circulating on Thursday (October 3), Kanye can be heard expressing his love for Drake’s assistance in the studio while performing the 2018 ye cut “Yikes.”
“I want to thank Drake for writing this chorus for me,” he says in the song’s introduction.
Kanye’s unexpected shout-out came shortly after a video of Drake recording his reference track “Yikes” surfaced as part of the Toronto rapper’s 100 Gigs content dump.
Although Drizzy is credited as the songwriter, this song – as well as your other work – reached the pinnacle of his feud with Kanye’s close collaborator and then-GOOD Music label member Pusha T.
