Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former bodyguard Gene Deal has publicly announced that he is willing to testify against the music mogul during an investigation into Diddy’s business and personal conduct.
The revelation comes after Homeland Security Investigations conducted a federal raid on Diddy’s home, investigating sex trafficking allegations tied to the entrepreneur and entertainment mogul.
Dill has previously shared his experience working for Diddy and the incidents he witnessed, and emphasized that he’s ready to move forward in a video discussion with The Art of Conversation.
“I got all kinds of hate mail, IG, talking about me trying to take down a black man. No, I went through every step you’re supposed to go through when you have a problem with a man,” Gene Deal explain. “He did what he did, went the way he went, and he’s suffering the consequences, and I don’t feel bad at all.
“When they say ‘money, power, respect,’ they screw up the game [by The Lox featuring DMX and Lil Kim] It was never like this. You get respect in the street, which gives you power and brings you money. He pushed his ass back. Do I care what happens? There’s enough money to get him out of this … so we think,” Gene Deal said, adding that Diddy might even commit suicide.
So far, Diddy has been forced to give up his stake in cable network Revolt and withdraw from his involvement in Capital Prep, a Harlem and Bronx charter school, amid sexual misconduct allegations.
The raids on Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami mark a significant escalation in a federal investigation focused on multiple allegations of sexual assault, rape and sex trafficking.
Diddy’s legal team described the operations as an “unprecedented ambush” aimed at gathering evidence to support the charges.
Despite the aggressive nature of the raid, Didi was neither arrested nor detained, although his cooperation with authorities was highlighted.
Gene Deal served as a key figure in Didi’s security detail for many years and has in-depth knowledge of Didi’s personal and professional life, making him a potentially key witness when chosen to testify.
Dill’s relationship with Diddy dates back to a shared relationship with a New York City gang, a connection that initially brought them together and led to Dill taking on the role of protecting the founder of Bad Boy Records.
As the investigation into Diddy’s alleged involvement in sex trafficking advances, testimony from insiders like Gene Deal could corroborate the charges against the mogul and potentially send him to prison.
