Diddy is once again trying to get out of jail on bail amid a major change in his legal team.
The Bad Boy Records founder has spent roughly two weeks in the notorious Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center since his arrest on September 16 on multiple charges including sex trafficking and racketeering.
Didi has been denied bail twice, but in a new filing from his beefed-up defense team, he’s making a third attempt at bail.
The tycoon hired Alexandra Shapiro (no relation to famed defense attorney Robert Shapiro) and Anthony Rico, who joined his existing attorney Mark Agnifilo .
Shapiro is considered one of the nation’s leading appellate attorneys, while Rico has been involved in many high-profile cases, such as the World Trade Center bombing.
Judge Andrew L. Carter, Jr. ruled that Diddy has so far been denied bail because prosecutors have proven he is a “dangerous person” and that his proposed $50 million bail package “even in the face of The risk of escape is also not enough.”
