Trevor Phillips, a former Donda Academy employee, is suing Kanye West over the fact that her daughter is reportedly still involved with the Donda Academy. Despite the troubling accusations Phillips made in his lawsuit against Ye, he did not try to remove her from the Glee program, Page Six reported.
Makayla Miles Phillips has reportedly been participating in the choir since January. Page Six cited a copy of an attendance sheet that listed her attendance in recent months. Phillips’ daughter and her mother’s family also learned of his lawsuit as the public learned of it. Miles Phillips’ half-sister also participated in Donda’s choir.
On April 2, Phillips sued Ye for discrimination, retaliation, wrongful dismissal and other charges. Phillips accused Kanye of threatening to shave the children’s heads and lock them in cages at Donda Academy.
The lawsuit alleges that after Adidas severed ties with Kanye in 2022, Kanye continued to make anti-Semitic remarks in front of Donda Academy and Yeezy employees. Kanye allegedly doubled down on the conspiracy theory, saying the Holocaust was fake.
“Gay people are being controlled by Bill Gates so that they won’t have children to control the population,” Kanye claims in the lawsuit.
Phillips accused Ye of creating a hostile work environment and mistreating black employees. The lawsuit alleges that Kanye threatened to punch Phillips in the face.
“Kanye’s ill will toward the plaintiff culminated in a vulgar whipping in front of schoolchildren and their parents,” Phillips’ attorneys wrote. “Kanye even threatened Phillips with physical violence.”
The lawsuit includes accusations that Kanye simulated masturbation and discussed pornography during meetings with staff. Phillips alleges Ye became horny and “then had a video call with a female friend” before asking her to wear underwear the next time he saw her. Phillips said he recognized the woman because Kanye “showed off nude photos of her to numerous Yeezy staffers” before the incident.
Phillips seeks at least $35,000 in damages in the lawsuit. He requested an injunction preventing Kanye from owning or operating any schools for children under 18 in California.
