DaBaby can finally put an end to his 2020 feud as he officially settled the lawsuit against him, according to court documents obtained by TMZ on Friday (September 27). For those unaware, homeowner Gary Pagar is suing him over an incident that occurred at Pagar’s home in 2020 while filming a music video for the Stunna 4 Vegas track “Play You Lay.” The civil lawsuit was ultimately triggered after the rapper allegedly punched Pagal in the face after complaining about music video filming rules. The parties reached a global settlement of all claims and asked the court to cancel future conference dates in order to sign the settlement agreement.
What’s more, DaBaby has a great excuse to celebrate this settlement, as he just dropped his first project in two years. What kind of mixtape is this? It’s a pretty ambitious issue for a record of this nature, and as you’d expect, it’s filled with his typical style and some more intense verses. We would like to know if Charlotte MC has more plans for 2024 in the areas of professional development or extracurricular activities. After all, he was in a place where he could do whatever he wanted.

Elsewhere, DaBaby made headlines for his brash, swift and brutal response to the entire bragging scandal. Specifically, he’s performing a troll master move in his upcoming music video, which is pretty ironic considering the lawsuit he just settled. Still, the babe bought a ton of baby oil for visual effect, referring to the hundreds of bottles of the substance found by federal officers during raids on Sean Combs’ properties in Miami and Los Angeles. He hasn’t lost that defiant, clownish tone, has he?
Meanwhile, DaBaby continues to be confrontational in his music, and not just in his social media antics or extracurricular antics. He seemingly launched a diss song against his ex Danielle due to his brother filing a lawsuit against him. Perhaps by 2025, there will be fewer court developments in the 32-year-old’s life and career. But one thing is certain: Whether it’s a motion for trial or an online attack, he will respond harshly.
