Coi Leray and Trippie Redd have announced they are expecting their first child.
The couple welcomed the new year with an unexpected surprise announcement for fans. “I’m a rock star mom 💋🥹 and we’re ready for 2025 🖤,” the rapper posted a series of photos on Instagram, in which she shares the space with boyfriend Trippie.
Coi and Trippie (real name is Michael Lamar White IV) briefly dated in 2019 and rekindled their relationship in August 2024.
After their breakup, Trippi seemed to address their relationship in his song “Leray,” with lyrics including: “When you were with me, you were a genius/Now without me, you gotta live like an idiot.”
Shortly after, Coi discussed the song on No Jumper, calling the song “bulls-t.”
“At first, no, I didn’t like it. It was like, what the heck, because I always thought we really had something other than music,” she said. “So I’m like, damn. If you have something to say, we get together and you say it to my face…”
This will be Trippie and Coi’s first child. Congratulations to the couple!
